the summer leaves, the way in which the leave allowance is calculated and when it is paid,?

The information that an employee needs for the summer leaves, the way in which the leave allowance is calculated, and when it is paid, are provided by the Information Center for Employees and Unemployed (KEPEA) of GSEE.

According to KEPEA, the time of granting the licenses is determined by an agreement between the employee and the employer. At least half of the employees must take leave between May 1 and September 30.

The employer is obliged to grant the leave within two months from the time point at which the relevant request was made. He is also obliged to grant the leave before the end of the calendar year, even if the employee has not requested it.

During the first calendar year, the employee is hired, the employer is obliged to grant him, by December 31, a proportion of the days of leave to which he is entitled, according to the time of employment. Every employee with an employment relationship of indefinite or permanent duration is entitled from the beginning of his work until the completion of twelve months to receive the percentage of his leave. This ratio is calculated on the basis of 20 working days of annual leave for those who work five days a week and 24 working days for those who work six days a week.

During the second calendar year, after the employee completes twelve months of work, he is entitled to 21 days of five-day employment and 25 days of six-day employment.

For the third and subsequent working years, the employee is entitled from January 1 of each year to his regular paid annual leave, ie 22 days for five-day work and 26 days for six-day work.

After completing 10 years of work with the same employer or 12 years of service in any employer, the employee is entitled to 25 working days leave, if he works 5 days a week and 30 working days, if he works 6 days a week.

After completing 25 years of service to any employer, employees are entitled to an additional day off, ie 26 days for five-day work and 31 days for six-day work.

The Leaves Allowance 2022,

The employer is obliged to advance the remuneration and the leave allowance to the employee at the beginning of the leave.

The employee is entitled during the leave to the salary he would receive if he worked normally full time. These earnings include all monthly allowances paid (in cash or in-kind) and surcharges.

He is also entitled to a leave allowance, which is equal to the remuneration of the days off, with a maximum of ½ of salary, for those who are paid with a salary or 13 salaries for those who are paid with a salary.
